Building Skills
We believe that ARMHS is a venue through which our clients can experience success by achieving self-identified goals that promote personal wellness and build upon the strengths of the person.
This program seeks to meet consumer needs in a practical way that promotes individual autonomy and personal growth.
To qualify, individuals must be 18+ years of age with a serious and persistent mental illness. Individuals receiving ARMHS first complete a functional assessment with an ARMHS worker to identify areas of growth. Then, a treatment plan is developed collaboratively which focuses the service to meet clients' goals.
Our ARMHS program supports independence surrounding consumer self-identified goals and can help enhance consumer mental health stability and improve social skills, personal and emotional skills, coping skills, independent living skills, parenting skills, community skills, and healthy living habits including but not limited to:
ARMHS services are provided 1:1 in a client's home and/or community setting to encourage community involvement and independence. ARMHS groups are also available which provide additional socialization and skill building.
