My name is Jese Rugroden. I have been in the mental health field in some form or another for the past 17 years. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been practicing as a therapist since 2015. I am currently trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy which is a great short term therapy intervention for many different diagnoses but its main focus is PTSD. I have taken more focused training on Internal Family Systems therapy(IFS) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT). I work with preteens, teens, and adults, I also work with individuals, couples, and family systems. I have a long history of working with PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance use, personality disorders, and complex interpersonal relationships. I have a very direct honest communication style when doing therapy as I have always felt that our consumers are here looking for relief and don't want to waste time in getting there. I have found that the combination of IFS, DBT, Narrative, and CBT have been great to help address the various concerns that come into the therapy office. I also do sandtray therapy which has been a more experiential way for consumers to process through their struggles.

When I am not doing therapy I love being outdoors. I love to hike, hunt, fish, and camp. I enjoy taking care of the homestead and all our poultry. Lastly I enjoy most dorky things, life is all about balance.
