Substance Use Director

I joined Inspire Services in 2019 as the Director and Counselor of the Substance Use Disorder Programs in both Montgomery and Saint Peter. I've been privileged to bring over 30 years of experience in clinical and management positions and feel fortunate that I can contribute my expertise in providing these services in our community and surrounding communities.

I live in Montgomery with my husband, Glenn, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren, and making handcrafted jewelry.

Susan Connolly is being recognized in the Substance Use Disorder field in January 2024 with the Ron Amdahl Award. This award was first given to Ron Amdahl posthumously last year, so Susan is the first recipient aside from Ron himself!

Each year the panel for the Ron Amdahl Award selects through nomination a colleague in the field who has exhibited through their work, dedication and innovation in the treatment and advocacy of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, the level of passion, devotion, and care that Ron was known for.
